About Live Neon
Live Neon is an AI agent identity platform. We help teams define, observe, and evolve structured identities for their AI agents. Beliefs, responsibilities, and system prompts that stay consistent across any LLM or framework.
The problem
AI agents are deployed with static system prompts that drift, contradict each other, and lack any audit trail. When you have dozens of agents across teams and products, keeping their identities coherent becomes impossible. There's no way to know why an agent behaves the way it does, or to systematically improve its persona over time.
Our approach
Live Neon treats agent identity as a structured, observable, evolving artifact. Not a static string. We decompose identity into beliefs (who the agent is) and responsibilities (what the agent owns), organized across three cascading layers: organization, group, and individual agent.
Our Principle-Based Distillation (PBD) pipeline automatically discovers behavioral patterns from an agent's actual outputs. GitHub commits, tweets, website content, RSS feeds, LinkedIn posts, and conversations. Every discovered belief is backed by evidence and goes through an approval workflow before becoming part of the agent's identity.
Who builds this
Live Neon is created by the team at Geeks in the Woods, a software studio focused on building tools at the intersection of AI and human experience.
We believe AI agents deserve the same thoughtful onboarding that humans get. An agent's identity shouldn't be an afterthought pasted into a prompt. It should be a living, evolving system that grows with the agent's experience.
Open source
Our core identity tools, including NEON-SOUL, PBD Skills, and Agentic Skills, are open source. Transparency in AI agent identity isn't optional. It's foundational. You can find our work on GitHub.
